You’ve really helped us a lot! I’ll also share your findings with our internal team to see how we can optimize things.

Hi there,

Some consideration For user to add a Large Flash chip to the bottom of the next revision of the XIAO expansion board(like on the Grove expansion board) and IO to accommodate the “Plus” variants of New XIAO’s While we are there a NICE color Display one inch Larger.
keep all the old stuff, add some jumpers and a PMIC.

That’s what it needs.

NEXT!

i think the debugger should be used as a base for V2
I sure wish seeed would hire me to be the project manager… but i dont speak chineese

Hi there,

Definitely a good start. It should be incorporated into the next version of the XIAO DEV expansion board. IMHO :bowing_man:

Well… lets think about what else would be awesome on an expansion board I haven’t fired up an eda program in a while, it could be a fun experiment.

What field of applications do our toys not currently cover well?

You already very clearly called out external flash storage. The Xiao round display has a tf slot on it, so that should be a decent example of how to wire it up on the board.

Seeed is either listening closely or a step ahead of me, I share a neat project idea, seeed staff DM me pictures of a prototype of said idea on someones desk from last week.

Derp… the expansion board already has a tf slot on the bottom.

I sent them a bunch of ideas of how to mash up some existing products to make what i call the XAIO Master System (Copyright) lol I talk to some engineers but they quickly get fired

Color display like Debugger or swapable displays, RGB-LED-Epaper similar to Tracker L1 and active power management like XIAO Breadbox
