@PJ_Glasso Are there announced plans for the Grove Vision AI V2 and Sensecraft Web Toolkit to support YOLO26 models in addition to YOLO8 and possibly YOLO11? I understand that YOLOL26 includes pose improvements, but there are no Seeed pose-estimation examples for YOO26, nor SenseCraft support for YOLO26 metadata, yet?

So, AFAIK … Based on recent community discussions as of January 2026, there are no officially announced plans or immediate support for YOLO26 models, including pose estimation, on the Grove Vision AI V2 or within the SenseCraft Web Toolkit. While the V2 module supports YOLOv8 and other models, it is currently limited to specific, pre-defined model formats rather than arbitrary new versions.
- SenseCraft & Metadata: The SenseCraft tool does not currently support metadata for YOLO26.
- Alternative Options:* Users seeking to run custom, non-supported models on the Grove Vision AI V2 (WE2) would need to recompile the firmware, which is considered an unsupported, undocumented process.
The Grove Vision AI V2 is currently optimized for established, efficient models like YOLOv8 via SenseCraft integration and Seeed’s Arduino library, rather than emerging versions.
It doesn’t mean they are not looking at other methods to achieve the same goal, Be patient it’s cutting edge and NO-one is moving that fast really. Not with any Major improvements just some added enhancements… Still cooking IMO & Seeed no doubt.
