XIAO RP2350 : it switches from COMX to UF2_board to COMX each time I flash it

Hi !

EDIT : sorry it is a duplicate of my own message : Seeed RP2350, sometimes UF2_Board, sometimes exposes COM* port

EDIT2 : it could be linked to the fact I don’t press BOOT button ? Since RP2040 didn’t need it, I thought it was not necessary on the RP2350

I have used many XIAO RP2040 for my projects, and uploading from Arduino IDE was very easy.

I tried recently the RP2350 version, but a strange phenomenon occurs: the RP2350 is detected as connected on COM9 (it is an example), and after the code upload, the RP2350 is detected on “UF2_Board”.

So Serial monitor is not available, and it comes back only if I reflash the XIAO (and it comes back on a regular COM port).

Am I the only one to have this weird phenomenon ?

Notice: I don’t press any button on the XIAO when I upload the code.
