Dear Seeed Studio Team,
I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction and frustration with the experience I’ve had using your A603 carrier board with Jetson Orin NX.
I have purchased two units of the Jetson Orin NX along with your A603 carrier board. Nowhere on your product page or documentation did you clearly state that the A603 board is incompatible with the Arducam IMX477 camera module — in fact, quite the opposite.
Your documentation claims that with JetPack 6.0 and configuring jetson-io, the IMX477 should be supported. That is simply not true.
I have spent over three weeks of development time trying to make this work:
- I tested multiple JetPack versions (6.0, 6.1, 6.2) — none worked
- I tried all possible combinations of overlays, manual DTB changes, and driver installations
- I re-flashed the board several times
- I even spent an entire day attempting to install JetPack 5.1.2, which turned out to be completely unsupported on your A603 board
To this day, I still do not have a working IMX477 setup on your hardware, and I am rapidly running out of time to deliver this project.
I also contacted you via your support forums but have received no response.
This is unacceptable.
If your board does not support IMX477 — or if it requires a specific overlay or DTB customization — that should have been clearly stated on the product page. Your silence and lack of documentation have cost me weeks of wasted engineering effort.
At this point, I demand a clear answer:
- Is there any official way to get IMX477 working on the A603 board with Jetson Orin NX?
- If not, do you offer a return, refund, or replacement for a board that actually supports this setup?
I expect a prompt and responsible response.
Sincerely,
M.S
