I need help with the SenseCAP ORCH S4.
I am trying to get data through RS485 protocol (with a RS485-LN LoRa converter) and I am not getting any response from the sensor. I already tried as indicated in the manual and got nothing. I even tried writing a value to a register and that didn’t work either.
The connection is as indicated in the wiring diagram and I am powering it with 10VDC.
In case anyone else is having issues with modbus with this sensor, I found that the issue was that I was using an incorrect sensor address (1 instead of 14). I noticed that the old manual (v 1.0) refers to the address as 1, but the updated manual (v 1.1) refers to the address as 14. In both manuals, the example request strings still appear to be stated with a sensor address of 1 (e.g., page 12).
