So, to connect and set up the SenseCAP 4G Sensor Hub with your soil NPK sensor (which relies on the Modbus-RTU RS485 protocol), the best place to start is the official documentation.
Depending on the specific version of your NPK sensor, it will either have a waterproof aviation connector (which is plug-and-play) or bare hook-up wires. If you have the bare wire version, you will need to wire it directly into the Data Logger’s RS485 terminal blocks (connecting VCC, GND, RS485 A, and RS485 B).
Once it is physically connected, you will use the SenseCAP Mate App to bind the 4G Data Logger to your account and select the correct soil sensor template so it knows how to parse the data.
