Seeeduino XIAO grove base shield 5V output to Gas sensor MQ9

I have a question, I’m very new to working with microcontrollers. I want to attach and power a Grove Gas sensor MQ9 from a Seeeduino XIAO and preferably directly from the Grove base shield.

  • Would this be possible as all inputs on the base shield seem to indicate only a 3,3V output?
  • Could i use the Grove cables and disconnect the 3,3V cable and connect this one to the 5V pin on the Base shield?
  • Could i feed a 6V power source (2 coin cell batteries) into the Grove base board as well? How do i have to connect these to the base shield?
  • I also have a Grove Loudness sensor and vibration motor attached, should i worry for their power source aswell?

Would anyone be able to provide some insight/help into this matter? Many thanks in advance!

It cannot be done. It would be dangerous.
