In this video I build a rotating ESP32-based radar scanner that can detect and track multiple targets in real time. The system uses a 24 GHz HLK radar module mounted on a rotating platform, with position control handled by an ESP32 CYD and wireless communication via ESP-NOW.
The scanner sweeps ±90° using a stepper motor with hall-sensor calibration to maintain accurate angular positioning. Radar data is sent back in real time and visualised on a live radar-style display, with filtering to distinguish real motion from background clutter.
