Had some problems with bluetooth connection, tried all kind of things, then I saw in the app that there was a new SW-version 2.1 for the S2120. Downloaded it, and problems are gone.
I dont know what else it does. Have not found out.
Worked for a day or three. Now I cannot connect the bluetooth from Android phone to s2120. Tried all known psw’s, 0000, 000000, 1234, 123456. Any other ideas? Tried with two different phones.
I dont want to put back the unit on top of the roof before this is solved.
Again I answer myself, in case somebody runs into the same problem regardig bluetooth connection.
- Remove batteries in S2120.
- Cover the solar panel w/ something like a towel or dark paper.
- Wait a day or three so the S2120 totally don’t have any power left.
- This seems to clear internal memories.
- Keep solar panel covered, install new batteries.Now you can remove the solar panel cover.
- Connect to S2120 w/ bluetooth, configure it as normal.
- You might do some testing before climbing up the ladder!
This worked for me. Did not have to put it in the garbage bin!
