So, I’m doing it this way. When I do the “Get” from the weatherAP and also when I do the Forum “Get” They both return Payload with a Time stamp. I use that and the time since I “last checked” and test for sameness…
IMO , the RTC isn’t 100% without the interrupt.
I’m betting they are going to make and offer more of these in the future , hopefully they listen to the user base and tweak up the design
I have integrated the E1002 as a ePaper sign for room reservations in a military infrastructures.
The challenge was the connectivity instead of dashboard design.>informed. With powerful intranet tools like **SharePoint** driving modern collaboration, this project connects your SharePoint room-booking list directly to ePaper screens deployed across your facilities.
Key goals:
No cloud dependency. All communication remains on-premises; the cloud and on-premises environments are completely decoupled.
Military-grade security criteria. Designed and tested in Spanish Army facilities: no internal credentials are exposed externally, and SharePoint access tokens persist only in firmware.
Lightweight and self-contained. The XIAO ESP32-S3 acts as a micro-proxy, caching results locally and translating SharePoint OData JSON into simple arrays that the ePaper terminal can consume directly.
