ReSpeaker 4 Mic Array error, please help

I am trying to set up my Respeaker 4 mic array to raspberry pi. I followed all the steps correctly in the website (https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/ReSpeaker_4_Mic_Array_for_Raspberry_Pi) until it asked me to type cd seeed-voicecard and then sudo ./install.sh . I got this error (Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: 4.19.66-v7+ (armv7l)
Consult /var/lib/dkms/seeed-voicecard/0.3/build/make.log for more information.
Can’t compile with this kernel, aborting
Please try to compile with the option --compat-kernel)

Please help…

Hi I ran into the same problem.

if you type sudo ./install.sh --compat-kernel

it will install with the appropriate kernel.

Good luck if you haven’t already fixed this.

Hey man, Happy new year. I know I am very, very late… But I ran into some problems like Covid-19 in my family and financial stuff. This is my first login in so many days. Thanks for your help. I will run the command and from now I will be very sure to update you if anything goes wrong without taking half a year. Thanks again. I am out of problems atleast for now so I will get back to raspberry pi. Thanks so much for the help. It is greatly appreciated. :innocent:
