I am setting up a RPi for Windows Remote Desktop… the login hangs like this… New Bookworm version… any ideas

I see lots of comments on the RPi forum , that it’s not as good as Real VNC,
However I also have seen similar on my Rock64 Deb install
" XRDP doesn’t work for root user '‘pi’, You need to create another user. The Pi root user cannot RDP for whatever reason.
sudo adduser <username>.
Choose password
Confirm password
Hit enter for defaults
Try RDP again with that login,
"It now works after adding the new user to some more user groups:
sudo usermod -a -G dialout,cdromsudo,audio,plugdev,games,users,input,netdev,spi,i2c,gpio,lpadmin

lol… i read that and did that… but i bet i used my regular password… What Da? … whats up with the password police…
