Rainbowduino v3 - common Anode or Cathode 8x8 Matrix?

Hi,
which one i have to choose.

I bought my Rainbowduino v3 without a 8x8 Matrix because i already had one.
My one is a YSM-2388ARGBC. Don’t have an datasheet.
Programmed my Rainbowduino with Plasma Matrix demo but it won’t light up.
Do i have to by another 8x8 Matrix or is it possible to change the program code for it?

Need some help please.

…found the answer.

It has to be common anode.

Don’t find any datasheet on the web. So I will test the YSM-2388ARGBC myself. One resistor and a bit voltage will do.
