Power on fails at times

ReServer user here. I have my system BIOS power on set to power up if power was lost. It works most of the times but not always. Why? Is there a fix for this?

If your CMOS/RTC battery is weak or dead, BIOS settings (including the power-on option) may not persist properly or reset after a full power drain.

@ahsrabrifat I believe BIOS settings arekept. After such event (power down and not starting up when power up) it correctly restarts several times till again after few electricity shortage events it would not power up again.

Hi there,

Captain , Obvious checking in here… Is this plugged into a grounded outlet? or a 2 wire power cord?
