I have a Rainbowduino v2 and the most basic of questions: the two pin power connector JST isn’t marked for polarity. I’m assuming this is the +5V regulated input. It’s hard to find a photo or document for it too, the pdf is unclear. A two wire fan plug I have fits, physically, but is opposite in polarity to the one image on Google that I can find.
The photo shows the +ve lead is closest to the bank of screw terminals, -ve closest to the pin sockets. Is that right?
Alternatively, am I better off just using the VCC pins on the pin headers? I’m very cautious about this, given the warnings about excess voltage to either the headers or screw terminals.
