So, Actually It’s not the case… Most folks check the topics and get up to speed and may even ask an ancillary question related to the topic. Then when they understand how to post. it’s much more productive and you get better answers.
Other than these, you won’t find any purley SPACE filling post to Be able to create a topic. So there’s that! 
Why don’t you ask your question get some preliminary Idea, than after some reply’s you’ll have the credz and then a fresh set of info to work with in a NEW topic specifically of it more to YOUR situation or setup. You will see a lot of Topics are close ,but with a unique twist for that user.
It’s how it often goes but You gain something either way being here.

So I am 38 years old, always been into anything with an engine (mopeds → motorcycles → cars). Have had multiple hobby vehicles. In the end I realized that I like creating stuff more than owning stuff. So i decided to sell all my hobby vehicles and buy a 3d printer. Got into printing and designing, after that got introduced to home assistant and got hooked into that. Well there you have 2 rabbits holes which perfectly came together with ESP32 (home automation + tinkering) so now i am trying out the electronics corner. This led me to XIAO as i saw how it was a product range, designed to work together from the start. And that is how we arrived to today .

dont worry about english being your language… as you can tell i cant spell or type tight anf english is my ONLY language…. except a little basic, C==, Fortran… thats about it… spanish un poco
mtfuji speaks japaneese, and everything he posts has to be translated, and it is hard for him, but ihs technical knowledge is on point and we wish we could get more and we thank him for everything
also you can edit your own posts to change… or add… i do it often
I want to get a 3d printer one day… I use autoCAD for work, i used to make 3d models before 3d was a thing… and now i ame in my spair time working on a 3d model of a boat i want to build, which i have been designing all my life. I will probably never build the full sized because of my age and health and lack of money, but i am planning a goal to this year get the 3d model in cad… 3d print a small scale of the design and my neighbor has a laser wood cutting buisness… i want to get him to laser cut the boat parts for a scale boat maybe 3 foot long and make a scale of the boat of my dream

I guess intro it is!
I go by Bird online, I’m 28, and have always had a thing for design as it relates to the “practical” things around us. Got started with robotics in high school, learned CAD, got a tech degree in CAD design and machining, going back for another in robotics and automation. I also currently work as a manufacturing tech for a mid-size electronics manufacturing plant.
I actually have no background with Seeed! I’ve always been the type to take up a project, and then learn what I need in order to make the end goal happen. I was doing some work with MQTT, another tech brought up LORA devices, which led me to the XIAO ESP32S3 & Wio-SX1262 Kit - of which I have the vaguest idea of what I’m doing.
