Also x2, there must be better way for spam protection… otherwise the forum is destined to be clogged up with useless posts/replies like my one

And Welcome Here…
So, Actually It’s not the case… Most folks check the topics and get up to speed and may even ask an ancillary question related to the topic. Then when they understand how to post. it’s much more productive and you get better answers.
Other than these, you won’t find any purley SPACE filling post to Be able to create a topic. So there’s that! 
Why don’t you ask your question get some preliminary Idea, than after some reply’s you’ll have the credz and then a fresh set of info to work with in a NEW topic specifically of it more to YOUR situation or setup. You will see a lot of Topics are close ,but with a unique twist for that user.
It’s how it often goes but You gain something either way being here.
