How can I use the Vision Module with passing raw data from another micro-controller instead of using camera module?

Hi there,
looking into it, I thought the same thing, I know they are a Graphics card co. (himax) so that’s probably there secret sauce , My thought was to make a template frame to center the image in take a photo of it, knowing it keys on the frame barcode for specific data but the RAW picture data would be used to train the LLM model and download the result inferences locally or on the Fly with a second MCU doing the heavy lifting? Not seeing the practical use and unless the picture quality is excellent.?
