I have a reComputer J30 series but this doesn’t power up (fan not turning/no light) when plugging in a power adapter which is a direct current 12V (5 Ampere). The input for power also mentions ‘dcin’ which i can only interpret as direct current in. The data sheet of this device mentions the power supply to be between 9-19V.
What could i try to make this device start up again?
Ensure that the power adapter you are using is functioning properly. You can test it by using a multimeter to measure the voltage output. If the voltage is within the specified range (9-19V) and there are no other issues, the power adapter should be working correctly.
