NFC Shield V2 and NTAG's

Hello!

I recently bought the NFC Shield and have been looking forward to using this with my NFC Tags. HOWEVER - this otherwise brilliant little shield cannot write to my NTAG203 or NTAG213 card. It seem to be able to read from them, though theres nothing on them yet. I get the following when I Read the tag:

NFC Forum Type 2 UID: xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
But get following when trying to write to them:

Found an ISO14443A card UID Length: 7 bytes UID Value: 04 A9 0A 32 09 29 84 4 A9 A 32 9 29 84 Ooops ... this doesn't seem to be a Mifare Classic card!
I know its not a Mifare Card, is there anyway to change this?
Can I have some help here? Am I doing something wrong or what?

Thanks,

IMPhill

I have a similar problem.

I have tags that are verified on my cell phone NFC reader to be NXP MIFARE Ultralight NTAG203.

The Arduino / NFC shield example sketch ‘ReadTag’ can read them, but, it says they are not MIFARE type when trying to write. Seems odd.

I will monitor this thread to see if someone jumps in with any ideas.

From nxp-rfid.com/products/ntag/, it seems NTAG is NFC forum type 2 tag. But NFC forum type 2 tag is not supported by Seeed’s PN532 library or Don’s NDEF library
