The overall idea is to have a production ready card with the required features for an At the Edge Intelligent IoT Computer Vision and Sound recognition card pluggable into a more complete and general purpose development card for prototyping. The goal behind this idea is a money and time saving kit with all the freedoms for prototyping (on one card) and all restriction for the production card. The less features a field device has the less are the chances of someone hacking them. The key point in having an integrated CVSR + connectivity card is to achieve smaller and easier to maintain device. Device maintenance is also address with the charge and load cover cards.
