According to NXP’s webpages, their MPR121 has a “Longevity” that ended in 2019:

I’ve used your breakout in some prototypes and was wondering what are your plans in continue to manufacture this breakout board. It’s a great product but I’d hate to face a complete redesign in a few years when you run out of MPR121 chips.
I could only find one other MPR121 Breakout (from Adafruit) so I’m really worried!
