LoRa to USB adapter

Hi,

As an offshoot from an earlier project with a xiao ESP32 module to a WIO-E5 I thought about making a USB to WIO-E5/antenna adapter.

This allows you to connect a Wio-E5 module to a PC/Phone/Raspberry Pi and send/receive data directly. With the help of Gemini I also created a PC App to interface with the USB - E5 adapter.

If anyone is interested I can create a Github page with the PCB/SW details.

Hi there,

Nice , work Phil & Gemini… (she couldn’t have done it without you) Yes, you should create that GIT and You should submit it to the Seeed, what makers make contest. I often say “Necessity is the mother of invention” :+1: here is a simple but effective demonstration.

Time for a smooth 3D printed Case Too! :crossed_fingers:
What kind of BenchMarks, SPEED / DISTANCE / POWER ?

That’s all that is missing AFAIK from this Thread to be complete.
Awesome use of the parts, tools & technology that is available today!

Great Time! to be in TECH!
