Hi,
I’ve been using the Mic Array v2.0 via the micro USB with a Pi but is it possible to connect it via the pins at the base?
Any advice appreciated.
Ning
HI Ning
Yes, you can. please follow below connection. thanks.
cheers
Bill
Thanks Bill.
I can see from the picture that you connected the 2 USB pins, the VDD_5V and the AUX_SEL.
Would it be possible to control the central LED and the LED ring with this connection?
Also please advice which USB pins I should connect. Is the following correct?
USB <–> MicArray
VDC <–> VDD_5V
D+ <–> USBDP
D- <–> USBDM
GND <–> AUX_SEL
Best

Hi Ning,
Please follow below connection and you can control the leds as well. thanks.
USB <–> MicArray
VDC <–> VDD_5V
D+ <–> USBDP
D- <–> USBDM
GND <–> GND
Thanks. So to double check the USB Ground Pin needs to connect to one of the ground pins on the board?
The picture you sent suggests the USB Gnd connects to AUX_SEL.
Also would the board still work if I remove the Audio Jack? It’s really in my way and I don’t need it. An audio jack on the other side of the board would be much better.
Many thanks.
Ning
Hi Ning
It shall be GND, it is my bad. thanks.
