I’ve connected Grove I2C Color Sensor with R-Pi3 model B via GPIO and I can see it at i2c-1, but the only arrays I can receive from it are:

TCS3472 doesn’t react to commands to change state of any register, for example SMBUS:
bus.write_word_data(0x29,0x80,0x03)
I’ve tried also via i2c-tools: i2cset and i2ctransfer - same no effect.
What am I doing wrong or is the sensor not working correctly?
