Has anybody been able to find some sort of graph that details the relationship between voltage and moisture content in regards to this sensor? I cannot find anything on the wiki or the datasheet giving a detailed explanation. I understand that there is an inverse relationship between moisture and voltage output, but where can I say that’s dry or that’s wet?
The analog value increases proportionally with moisture. The output value can be 0-1023. If you completely immerse the sensor in water, the value will be 1023. In dry soil, it will be 0 or close to zero. Depending on the wetness of the soil, you will see the value changing. If the soil is completely wet, you may see an output value higher than 600.

That’s not the case. When completely dry, you see about 3.3V or 1023. When submerged in water, you get about 2V or something like that. I can’t remember the exact value, but it’s not zero. This is the moisture sensor I’m referencing, not sure if you’re talking about a different one.
