I have spent the last few months porting grblHAL to the Arch Mix using MCUXpresso as the development environment. If there is any interest I can provide further info and code.
It is a fantastic board to work with, and once you have worked through the complexities of using MCUXpresso(there are a few) it is quite easy to work with.
