As someone who has no experience with LoRa or GPS tracking devices I purchased the Wio Tracker 1110 dev board because it seemed easy to use. After following the given quick start guide I got the board connected to the SenseCap Portal and Mate app. From there all of the sensors were working and reporting data, except the GPS. When I investigated further in the SenseCap Mate App, it was reporting that the GNSS Scan was timing out every time. I have tested with the board both indoors and outdoors, as well as changing from battery power to a usb connection with my laptop. At the time I purchased three boards, and they are all having this same issue. For some context, I am in a fairly rural part of the USA, would that cause any issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I would say be patient, Put one in the car in the windshield clear sky view, The initial download can take a while, up to 4 hours, I believe if one updates they all will get synced and work straight away, (ephemeral data)

read up on the other posts @cgwaltney has the 411 on those so He’ll chime in Hopefully
take a look at this and the wiki… it has been a while what is the production date of your device? it has been a while since i did this but you have to update the bootloader so you can flash a new firmware to it
it also may be that the gps just doesnt work on that device… now that i think about it… yeah… i think the problem is that the gps was some idea whereby to lower the power consumption it would offload the computation power to the cloud for post processing and that cloud server died and the gps would not work anymore… also it tried to use wifi and bluetooth sniffing to locate without gps… it was a failure… but all you have to do is get another gps and conect it to the uart… atleast … i am using my on meshtastic right now and i know it works with an external gps… but i cant sware it works on sensecap…
anyway keep asking questions here and i will try to help!
