Dear Seeed Studio team,
I am currently using the SenseCAP Solar Node P1 Pro as a MeshCore repeater, and I believe it is already a very interesting platform for outdoor and remote installations.I would like to suggest that Seeed Studio consider adding, in a future version of the SenseCAP Solar Node P1 Pro or as an optional accessory, a band-pass filter for the 868/869 MHz band. For outdoor repeaters installed on rooftops, mountain sites, or locations close to radio, TV, or telecom transmitters, receiver desensitization can become a real issue. In these environments, proper RF filtering is often more important than simply increasing TX power. An integrated band-pass filter, or an optional weatherproof external filter module with good shielding and low insertion loss, would make the SenseCAP Solar Node P1 Pro much more suitable for long-term unattended repeater installations. For MeshCore use, especially in mountain areas or high-traffic RF environments, this could significantly improve stability and real-world performance.Other improvements that could be very useful are: easier mounting for external antennas and filters, robust waterproof accessories, reliable battery/solar operation, and strong long-term outdoor durability.
Thank you for listening to the community and for considering these suggestions.
