Yes, no Issues’ with the Basics, However it’s moot as they have just updated to 3.2.1 so include some refreshes to be more in line with the Zephyr upstream * nRF54L Series:
Added experimental support for nRF54LM20A Engineering B.
Probably have a improved the Soft devices also.

the Build would crash under the new toolchain and SDK, until I stopped forcing the Board root to the Seeed one, Not using the Switch It compiles AOK, the “WatchFace Demo” works with Round display.

I may also add I did update VS code to the latest Dec release also. just FYI.
so I think also the Zephyr is upstream is up to date with the latest date also.
And none of these updates, at least the essential ones (like bluetooth schorter intervals, single slot OTA), are not for the older chips, like nrf52840, unfortunately
Yes, Sir You are Correct However, The next Softdevice version for the nRF52840 will have some updates too very, soon.
While speaking to the Vikings, I got that they want BareMetal to be Stable with it’s own Softdevice initially, then they have a plan to converge to a new softDevice covering all the Nrf52 & 54 series unfortunately the Nrf53 series is the “red Headed Step child” or something it’s really the only True Dual Core too!, all this LP core bahlony IMO, hard to code and info is limited!.

BTW , single slot OTA was never a thing for Xiao nRF52840 , because the external flash was there and big, MCU boot with crashproof DFU is available for the 52 series FWIW
the SI is a New BLE spec piece so wouldn’t have applied anyway without a Newer Softdevice.
It’s not all bad News +
, SO if you build with the newer toolchain and SDK you will use less RAM and Flash
which is always a step in the right direction.
