Hi everyone,
I am currently working on enabling fTPM (Firmware TPM) on the reComputer Jetson Industrial J4012 (Orin NX 16GB).
As far as I know, there isn’t much public information or documented success stories specifically for the reComputer series regarding fTPM activation. I am following the official NVIDIA documentation for JetPack 6.2 (L4T r36.4.4): Firmware TPM — NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide
Since enabling fTPM involves sensitive steps like burning fuses and configuring OP-TEE, I want to be extra cautious before proceeding, especially considering the specific carrier board design of the J4012.
Has anyone in this community successfully enabled fTPM on a reComputer Orin NX/Nano?
Specifically, I’m curious about:
-
Any specific hurdles encountered with the Seeed carrier board (J401).
-
Confirmed steps for burning the fuses for fTPM on this hardware.
-
Any tips on avoiding a bricked device during the process.
If you have any experience, advice, or even “failed attempts” to share, it would be extremely helpful for me and anyone else looking to implement security features on this platform.
Thanks in advance for your help!
