I have a device with a manufacturing date of 2529 which according to this post I should be able to program the device via the USB A port.
Has anyone else tried this?

“For those who follow in my footsteps” after some trial & error it worked with a cable like this USB A <=> USB A.
You’ll need to source locally make sure it’s data capable. Take into account serial number info on device wiki page as well
