Confirm GrovePi+ works with Raspberry Pi 5?

Can anyone confirm that the GrovePi+ hat works with the new Raspberry Pi 5?

We are sorry to inform you that the GrovePi+ is not currently compatible with the latest Raspberry Pi Bookworm OS.

I can not get Raspberry Pi 5 to work with Grove Base Hat for Raspberry (SKU 103030275). Installation commands on the wiki (Grove Base Hat for Raspberry Pi | Seeed Studio Wiki) after
‘cd grove.py’ do not work. Please rectify or confirm that this HAT is not compatible with OS Bookworm.

Is this still the case? Is the Raspberry Pi 5 not compatible with Grove?

i thought they all used 40 pin I/O

so its not a hardware issue… Its a software issue…

Seeed updated the wiki for Raspberry Pi Model 5 using Bookworm but there is still an issue. The Grove HAT has two versions: One (STM32) uses i2c address x04 and the latter one (MM32) uses an i2c address x08. Bookworm follows the i2c standard and does not recognise i2c addresses less than x08. So you can get the Grove HAT to work in Bookworm has long as it is based on the MM12 microcontroller with an i2c address of x08. Seeed Studio updated the wiki on Fri 19Jul24 at my request.

Thanks for the update… I am not happy with the upgrades to Bookworm
