Can XIAO overtake Arduino? Time to invest in software
Hi there,
Not much left to Overtake IMO… The IDE is Stale as hell. PlatformIO pretty much all that is left for one size fits all IDE, Arduino has performed successful “RUG PULL” on users and the base that was committed to the whole ecosystem of hardware and software.
They Got PAID!
too bad they failed to vet the suddor or even there intentions. No one is going to pay their kind of money for THAT! You get NOTHING with it… Hat’s none Yet! I need more embedded linux like a Boat anchor..C’mon.
Arduino had, Introduction to Micro’s down, all facets’. Quick -turn Prototyping and proof of concepts dead on! EASY! 
You may as well bite the bullet 
and get an Nvidia based Board or Seeed clone and use that! It will go WAY further than this trinket can, waste of AI TOPS. trying to shoehorn it in on everyone.
I’m betting it goes all away, no more little arduinos, and No more IDE, ONLY their version of the same hardware and a closed DEV system.
Time and Sales will tell IMO 
Seeed Should get with PLIO folks and Push that door OPEN ..Hard!

what is the future of AI coding for XIAO? should we get a ReSpeaker to write code?
Hi there,
pretty much any AI can give generic code, They could develop a custom LLM for Xiao as a guide or professor. It ALL starts with one thing!
Good documentation
Crickets…
They do a better job today at least , getting it all in one place is a very good start.
Key saves are made by having the Seeedineers in on the forum too, You see several posts were they swoop in with the Knowledge bom 
(see what I did there) LOL and provide the missing link in info about said product.
More info is better than NO info.
