Boards Manager cannot load "Seeed SAMD Boards" Rpi 400 Ubuntu 20.10 Desktop

Message “Tool bossac is not available for your operating system” occured.
It works well with Raspberry Pi OS.
Is this constelation (Raspberry Pi 400 / Ubuntu Desktop 20.10) suportet now?

Hi all,

almost the same problem I experience when finding “Seeed SAMD Board” in the boards manager, selecting and pressing install for version 1.8.2 of board package (older version have the same error).
The error message is the following:
