Can Non-invasive AC current sensor work with the NANO

Post by southernblackdragon » Thu May 06, 2010 2:43 am

hello, can someone tell me please if an ac current sensor, like the one seeedstudio offers (Model: SCT-013-030), work with the dso nano?, I'am asking this because, I want to measure 12v solenoids (like the fuel injectors found in a car),with less than 30A . Also I'am planning to use my DSO Nano as a tool for automotive diagnostics, I was wondering if the electro magnetic interference, like the ones created by the alternator, the ignition coils, etc, would affect the meassurement?
thank you very much :D

I bet not, your solenoids should be 12VDC, and this sensor is for AC. :)
