Well, I am confused. Module bought as non-Sense.
Model and Board ID shows 2 different versions.
The Boot loader is shown as ‘dirty’.
These observations raise questions…
Please explain?
Ahh I see. Sorry, I missed the part where the model and board ID were different.
I thought you were confused as to why it was mounting as a storage device.
I know in some cases the libraries used (Arduino or the CircuitPython bootloader for example) don’t distinguish between the two variants.
But I don’t have the sense variant so I don’t want to say much more that might mislead you.
Apologies that I couldn’t resolve your question.
Hay Gordy7,
Wowsa so it indeed is the correct part, Upon seeing that pic I went and dug up my very first seeed chip (2yrs ago)I ever used from the collection pile. (you can see it’s an “Xiao Nrf52840 BLE” )
When I connected it to the laptop I’m on at the moment even Windows Dev Mgr. See’s it a “Xiao Nrf52840 Sense” when plugged in and Identified. File manger shows it as “Xiao Sense”(E:)
So looking at the bootloader info I see it’s NO different.
I’ll put it under Strange but true. I’m guessing it’s the same PC-board so same board file.
just more proof to me that NOT allot of thought goes into the soft side of these NrF52840 Xiao’s
