Hello to all. I am a new user complete and total newb. I decided to make a project for my radio its just a simple BLE PTT. I am using a commercial PTT button which has a nrf51822. What I have done is make a project for the esp32c6 to interpret the uuid coming from the nrf chip to engage a micro rlay attached to the ground line and the ptt line on the radio. By doing this the radio knows it should transmit. Which it does, but unfortunately I don’t get audio I get weird loud buzzing and similar noises. I guess I am getting some forward voltage from the the esp32c6? The relay I am using is a G6L-1F-DC3 . Its is being control from the ground of the esp32 and the DA/SDA pin. Wiring seems straight froward but apparently not so. Or is this just the wrong type of relay to use? I can hear the relay click and I only get the weird noise when it is engaged, so it must be coming from the esp32. Does any one have any ideas as to how to resolve this problem? Thank you for sharing your expertise. Look forward to all opinions.

Hi there,
and welcome here.
Can you post a schematic or a block diagram ?Sounds like you are close.Once the C3 keys the mic then what?
What is the coil resistance of the relay? is in connected directly to a pin? is there a flyback diode across it?
reply and continue.

I have solved this problem. I built an opto-isolated relay. And it works as expected Thank you.
