XIAO Esp32-C3 power for project

Really running into my ignorance and need help. I’ve got a great project going w my XIAO Esp32-C3 that involves various other components that require various other voltages.

I need a steady 5v source with enough current to power LEDs, use as a reference for an I2C ADC and an I2C DAC, an I2C 128x32 OLED display and an I2C pin expansion IC. I need a steady +/-12v source to power a TL082 and a 556 IC.

This is for a relatively small box so I’d like to not put some huge heavy transformer inside the box but I’m not versed enough when it comes to power as to the best method to power all these components, so I need your help.

Thanks in advance for all of your suggestions and knowledge.

Hi there,
from your description I would go with something like this:

This way what ever size wall wort transformer can be big or small depending on what your total current draw is.

Thank you! I’ll check it out. And one day I’ll understand current enough to get it right. I’ll start with a wall wart w 1A and hope that’s enough.

Thanks again! :v:
