XIAO ESP32-C3 Battery Charge Rate

In the product info for the XIAO ESP32-C3, it says that it can charge at either 50mA or 100mA, but I can’t find any info on how to change the charge rate. On the XIAO nrf52840, you did this by pulling pin 13 low for high charge current. Is it the same process on the ESP32-C3? Or is there another pin that needs to be pulled low, or some other way to change that?

I asked to Seeed this issue,

please let me know following below.

  • default Lipo charge current
  • Charge current can chang or not.(increase)
  • if it can change, how to do it.

they said

The device is charged at 40MA and there is no way to change it.

:frowning:

Huh. That’s disappointing. I was hoping to be able to swap the ESP board in for the nrf, but I don’t think it’ll work in my project with the lower charge current.

Thanks for letting me know, though!
