I have a dragino LoRaWAN gateway with TTN and ChirpStack lorawan servers. I am trying to syncronize the internal RTC with AT+LW=DTR and then with AT+CMSG=“ping”. the RTC syncs up but with a wrong time, generally future time (about few mins to one hour (not is constant)), is the module rtc firmware bug? or something with the LoRaWAN server or gateway? I don´t have another gateway to test.
The dragino lorawan gateway rtc firmware is updated regularly to fix bugs and add new features. if your gateways is rtc firmware is outdated, it may be causing the gateway to syn up with a wrong time. The TTN and cripstack lorawan serverss provide the time to the gateway when the gateway connects to the server. if the servers are providing the wrong time, the gateway will sync up with the wrong time…
