The WIO Terminal, small, thin, but big enough would be very nice,m if WLAN would be supported by Python.
After years of waiting for support of WLAN on MicroPython i’ll propose to replace the current WIO Terminal by a new model nbased on ESP32 chip as this chip has the WLAN diretly integrated and the Micro Python Support is no issue.
There are currently alternative suppliers of small IOT devices that are much easier to program in MicroPython or using a graphical environment.
As now, the WIO Terminal needs to be programmed under Arduino to make WLAN running, which is quite old-style.
