Wio Terminal Additional Boards Manager URLs does not work

When I add the Additional Boards Manager URLs to Arduino IDE through File > Preferences, and open Tools > Board > Board Manager, the board manager started to upgrade. Then the “java.lang.NullPointException” Error come out.

Then no further search could be done.

It looks like the Arduino IDE has an exception.

I tried in other computer which have not set the Additional Boards Manager URLs, it appeared to be a common problem. So I suppose it is the problem caused by Arduino severer in these days.

Arduino posted on the FB page that their package_index.json was having problems. They gave details on how to recover from the probem.
