What’s the best way to flash new firmware for the Ublox module? I have the firmware and programmer from the ublox rep but I see on the schematic there isn’t an actual USB connection to the module. That means I would have to do it either over the air or through the host. Can I modify the module to do a USB update or any suggestions?

I did get a method to work. There are 4 pads on the bottom side of the board (the same side as the cell modem). You can find the schematic and layout online. You just need to solder a USB connector to those points and then you can start updating. To do the actual update, you might have to talk to Ublox directly. They don’t tend to share the tool and firmware openly. They will give you easy flash and the latest firmware. You just have to connect the USB connector and its all updated over the direct USB to the module.
