Why Does LoRa-E5 AT Firmware need to rejoin every time?

I have a Things Network Indoor Gateway. I’ve configured a node using the E5 module with the stock AT firmware and it’s all registered with The Things Network correctly. I have a couple of concerns that I’m hoping someone can help me better understand. My first concern is that I get “Join Failed” often.
