It would be nice to bring out the positive side of the LED to a hole, like the Sync and Interrupt connections, so you can connect it to an Arduino digital pin and switch the LED on and off under program control, rather than having it on all the time. Currently you have to solder to the top of the board on one of the switch pins to achieve this.
