I have the SARA-N410-02B-based Wio Tracker board (got it at a Twilio event). I want to build a speed radar that monitors my street for speeders; I assumed I would use two IR sensors to calculate the speed. That said, when I search through the sensors, I can’t seem to find IR sensors with a range beyond a few mm. Am I missing something? Is there a way another way to accomplish this?

You can use IR sensor, but the problem is you it only has mm rage and not capable of practical application. another option you can use two LDR and Laser diode pair and calculate the time between one pair crossed to another . from there you can calculate speed.
