Sound Sensor - How is modification to 3.3V input possible?

Dear community,

I plan to use the Grove-Sound Sensor (http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/index.php?title=Twig_-_Sound_Sensor) for a project that can only supply an input voltage of 3.3V. However, the component itself is rated for a minimum input voltage of 4V.

My questions are the following:

  1. Is it possible to modify the circuit (http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/images/b/be/Sound_sensor_sch.PNG to work with a supply voltage of 3.3V instead of 4V?

  2. How is it possible (or impossible in case… )?

Dear customer,

1.As you see that schematic, resistance is beside VCC so if you supply low voltage to module that can reduce the sensitivity.We not suggest to do that.

2.You mean for project?
Just depend what you need to do.Everything could make voice so let you guys to thing about it. :slight_smile:
