Does anybody know the command to put the HM3301 into and out of sleep mode, I only need measurements every 15 minutes to half an hour and would like to avoid running the fan continuously. The datasheet only seems to show for serial instead of I2C. A more complete datasheet of the actual laser module might contain the necessary information, I am unable to locate one though. I know I can just switch power to turn it off/on, but sleep mode would be preferred.
I get readings from the sensor, but cannot seem to get the set pin working as expected.
Leaving the pin floating, I get data from the sensor (and it reacts if I light a match next to the sensor), but the fan does not work. Pulling the pin to VCC turns off the measurements, fan not running, and pulling the pin to GND keeps on measurements, and fan is not working. So what is it that I do not get right? The fan should be turning to push air through the sensor?
