SenseCAP Watcher: 3D model available?

Hello,

As a follow-up to our “FREISA meets SenseCAP Watcher” post on Hackster

we are planning to design some additional adapters which could be 3D-printed. We also plan to release the design and the .STL files under an Open Source license, similar to what we have already done with the Camera-Thread part (refer to the article on Hackster for details)

It would be quite helpful if Seeed Studio could share the 3D model of the Watcher enclosure. Any common mechanical CAD 3D model could help (i.e. SolidWorks, IGES, STEP)

On the other hand, if you do not plan to release the 3D model just let us know.

Hi there,
That is one nice piece of Team-work there guys, Great documentation. Very cool Idea and thanks for building on the info for the Serial port stuff. Awesome job. Keep it going. I’m following the Yolo8 model being made local is wild. :+1:

I have been told that open sourcing and more help will be coming out after the end of the kickstarter… so stand by for news!

That’s totally understandable. I haven’t launched a KS campaign myself but I believe it is a lot of effort and stress.

Let’s wait and see, then
