Sense stopped taking code after attaching battery

Hi,
Was playing around with the ESP32S Sense yesterday and it was working just fine. Today I soldered on a battery and I can’t seem to be able to upload code to it anymore. I get one out of two errors:

A fatal error occurred: No serial data received.
A fatal error occurred: Could not open COM7, the port doesn’t exist

I’ve tried restarting and rebooting. Nothings works. Any idea what might be wrong?

Hi there,
Remove it , is it backwards? , any solder bridges? Those ESP’s are not real tough on handling too. If it was soldered on in reverse and a USB was plugged in , it’s Toast maybe?
break out the magnifier and give it a visual inspection. Did it get warm, too warm to the touch?

Please use this way to solve the problem of not being able to upload the program or no port
